[Elecraft] KX1 Receiver test and alignment question

I am finishing a KX1 and have a question. When tuning the radio, there is a
LOT of DDS hash when turning the tuning knob. I am just finished with the 20
meter and 40 meter testing. Will this always be there? Is there a way to
reduce this?
