Hi Bob,
If it's OK with you, I'll also send this to the list in case others are interested. I am semi-retired, I do consulting work now. Most of the projects are freebies, including all the software, although I have done some specialized programs for individuals in terms of remote control mainly.
It's mostly new, last updated in July. I use the E-Meter and E-Beam daily... although I haven't gotten around to finalizing the E-Beam PIC controller hardware... it's still breadboarded... and I'm now working on a little gadget that will allow me to do field strength measurements using a small phased reference antenna, log amp and voltage-to-frequency converter tied to a FRS walkie talkie to send data back to the shack, where I will use another walkie talkie and computer soundcard and software to display the azimuthal pattern. This gets rid of any interactions with the FS meter and the station.
The only "product" is the SteppIR Tuning Relay which I made in response to a need expressed on the SteppIR reflector, but I am thinking of releasing the E-Meter as a kit. I'm waiting to see if QST will publish the article I sent them on it. I also submitted the receive portions of the E-Beam, but they want the transmit portions as well. They say they are still planning on publishing an article I wrote on network remote control about 18 months ago, but have rescheduled it a couple times.
Once I get my K2, I'll have to think about some new software stuff for it, although many of my current programs will integrate nicely with the K2 through TRX-Manager and OLE ;-)

I just visited your site, after seeing the reference to your preamp.
Wow, I'm impressed. Do you do all these ham projects as a moon-lighting
job, or is this a full time business for you? Some really great stuff
there,
that I never even thought of using.
I'm very interested in the E-Beam you described. I didn't see a date on the
material. Is it recent, or from some time back? Any likelihood of kits for
this?
Thanks and 73
