[Elecraft] Re: Elecraft Digest, Vol 5, Issue 11

Well, actually, John, they appear all to be coming from messages sent
to karum3 at yahoo.com, which is the "reply to" address for all of the
receipts. This chap appears to be using some sort of web hosting, Mai
- Yazlim, whose web pages are in some language I do not recognize,
(perhaps Turkish? Maybe someone can let us know). This hosting
software seems to have an idiotic feature of providing a receipt for
every message successfully received and, presumably, passed on to the
ultimate recipient, in this case karum3 at yahoo.com. Now, maybe its such
a major accomplishment for this group to successfully receive a message
that they feel they must tell the whole world about it, but the use of
such software ought be banned.

best wishes,

dave belsley, w1euy
