After finally determining the correct way to turn the clock in relation to
UTC ECN ran fairly well :) 20 meters was much better than 40 meters
however. Dave in Texas and Jim in Arkansas told me of a thunderstorm in
their area. This was creating a bit of havoc here in Oregon. But I got
to meet a few new folks on 20 and greet the stalwarts on 40.
On with the lists.
On 20 meters at 14050 kHz starting at 2350z:
AA3WF - Mychael - PA - K2 - 1025
K6XR - Reggie - CA - K2 - 4112 Welcome back. New rig too :)
W0NTA - Dick - CO - K2 - 3900
W4ATK - Jim - AL - K2 - 4028
KI8JM - Bob - OH - K2 - 3630
WG4S - Dan - GA - K2 - 2456
N7YW - Gene - OR - K2 - 2876
W6LX - Al - CA - K2 - 3674
K2HYD - Ray - VA - KX1 - 608
W0CZ - Ken - ND - K2 - 1031
N6IZ - Brian - CA - K2 - 1991
K2IU - Robert - CA - K2 - 2181
K6OW - David - CA - just too weak to get more information :(
And then on 40 meters at 7045 kHz starting at 0300z:
N7NLU - Karl - OR - K2 - 4227
W0NTA - Dick - CO - K2 - 3900
NE5DL - David - TX - K2 - 2887
W0CZ - Ken - ND - K2 - 1031
WU5X - Jim - AR - K2 - 3440
Thank you for all of the check ins on such a spooky night. Hopefully
Ken's broom will not get stolen so his cleaning may continue and his
leaves stay nicely tucked away at the landfill :) What ever happened to
corn shocks and outhouses? Do any of you remember those pranks? :) Now
that's really dating myself! Ah, two room school house too. Fine days in
SW Wisconsin.
Any errors in this list are mine and will be corrected both on the
Reflector and in my database. Please come again and visit on a less noisy
evening. Hope you all had fun because I do :)
73,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class)
