Jerry,
A common problem with the VCO is the thermistor board. Check it carefully
for proper soldering. In fact check everything in the VCO area for proper
soldering, then check the soldering, and when you are finished, check the
soldering!!!
Seriously, soldering is the most common cause of problems, and second is
improper placement of components, so if you don't find a soldering problem,
check each component for the proper value.
If those steps don't correct things, I can help you troubleshoot it on a
step by step basis - but that may take quite a few (off-reflector) e-mail
exchanges. If it comes to that, first step is to tell me what test
equipment you have available.
