[Elecraft] K2 auto-detect feature

I'm thinking about using the K2 auto-detect keying feature to allow me to use 
the K2's internal keyer and also connect a bug and computer keying interface to 
the K2.  I'm wondering whether I'm likely to have a problem with spurious long 
dashes when using my paddle.  I tend to send between 30-40 wpm.  Any experience 
on this issue?
