[Elecraft] KX1 ATU and PO

I have completed and installed the ATU on my KX1.  It seems to work, although I have a question or two.  It seems as if the search for a match takes place rather fast, that is, it switches the different L's and C's out quickly so that the relays sound like they are buzzing.  Is that normal?  Second, I seem to have a lot of power out on 40 (> 6W) and less power on 20M (~3W).  30M is around 5.5W.  IS this normal?  I tried adjusting L2 but it didn't seem to make a significant difference in PO.
