You can feed it with ladder line and either use a balanced tuner or a 
tuner plus balun to feed it.  However, the best thing that you can do is 
get a copy of EZNEC or equivalent and model the different possibilities 
of leg length, shape, and feed location that are available to you.  You 
may find very interesting variations in both horizontal and vertical 
patterns as you change these things, not to mention the effect of 
operating it on different bands.
