APOLOGIES IN ADVANCE FOR OFF TOPIC SUBJECT..

Hey Guy's....

Could'nt resist it....the fact that "..Ma Main Man.." is currently postin'
to the reflector...

SO..!  Glad to see that, he's helpin' you folk's out....  I've known John
(.."COOL"..as we like to call him..) since I was 11 years old or so...all
through my "CB Day's"....and feel "privilaged" that the guy is still my
mate....

Infact...if ...ANY..(I CAN't beleive there will be) of you who HAVENT yet
visited my website (URL Below)... then please do so, as I'm sure john will
be glad of the interest also....he was the one who initiated it in the first
place... without him...I would'nt have had "as much" interest in "me", to
subsequently generate the interest on my site..which outlines the "progress"
I am currently underaking in the construction of my K2 S/n 01432....

He's a "real" gentleman in all things,...around these parts, there are
countless people who look up to him and his acheivements.....  "...If John
don't know the answer...It's NOT worth bothering about..."  ...  He's helped
countless folks out over the years, ....being "well sought after" in the
early 80's as the best (cough..!) "rig doctor" in the business ......myself
included on more occassions than I care to remember...

Recently he has been "instrumental" in the set-up of an "ESD Safe" area for
me, with Anti-static Mat, Grounded Weller WS51 Temp Controlled Soldering
Station, overhead Lamp...etc... (I'm a wheelchair bound "Ham" and
"Constructor") which has enabled me to carry on constructing my K2...(info
on my website)....  I was "struggling" before he stepped in to help....

When asked lately how he has gained such knowledge about his "Electronics
Career" ...since constructing 1 and 2 transitor transmitters from the early
age of 11 year old or so (with mods..I hasten to add)....he replied...

"...Andy....I Just See It..." ...!

It just goes to show, what can become of such "humble beginnings" (take a
look at his companies website..!)....  I admire him so much...what a
friend...and Inspiration...

What A Guy...!
