[Elecraft] Buddipole Antenna

Another very interesting antenna can be made from a nicely constructed and
nicely packaged collapsable 10 m fiberglass pole designed by DK9SQ. It
telescopes into a package that is about 4 ft long, and comes in a nice tube
with covers. To operate on any band between 40 and 10 meters, simply tie a
small diameter wire to the top, run it down the pole and connect it to you
K2, then add as many radials as you feel like. All you need to add is some
means to hold it vertical. 

I bought this unit on the internet from a US vendor for about $100. 

One of our QRP guys came back from Dayton describing an even neater version
of this -- similar construction, but with a wire running up the inside of
such a telescoping tube!
