Thanks Lyle.I'll try moving the rig further from the supply, then BYPASSING
the DSP. If it looks like the DSP, I'll confirm default settings and try to
get you a recording (.wav) of what I am hearing (it is also there in

I have not noticed this.  I know that every 5 kHz or so you will get a click
if there is a strong signal in the IF passband, but that is a normal
function of the K2 syntehsizer.

Try setting the KDSP2 to BYPASS and see if you still get the noise.  If so,
it is unlikely DSP releated.
