[Elecraft] WM-2 ?

Hello again,
I read with interest the comments on the Oak Hills WM-2. WHich brings up a
probably stupid question: the WM-2 has a limit of, I think, 10 watts. The
k-2 outputs close to 15watts. Can the WM-2 be used for "peaking" the
alignments in the K-2, or does the fact that the K-2 sometimes jumps to
higher output before its "electronic brain" scales the output back to the
requested level mean that you would end up "bouncing the needle" using the
WM-2 to tune-up the K2?
