Sorry for any wasted bandwidth, but I had a great time.
I arrived Thursday night, took in Dayton Friday, ran back home ( 5.5 hour
trip), went to my daughters graduation on Saturday, took everyone out for
lunch, then took off back to Dayton with my wife late Saturday afternoon.

Had the pleasure to meet the grand poo-bah of Elecraft expertise and
Elmering, Don , W3FPR,

and then there was this crowning moment:

Side note 1. In the flea market, there was a gentleman selling rig covers.
Sheila wanted to buy me one, so she went up to him, and asked if he had any
for the K2. He said, no, but he would have real soon, as he just bought one
from inside. With that, another " grazer" laughed and said that he had a
K2. At random, three of us.

Side note 2. Standing around, waiting for my wife to finish the general
test, a group of three guys came by, and one saw my call sign badge, and
said " That's a great CW call" I told him that I was not that active, and
that I was rather rusty on CW. With that he told me " Buy an Elecraft K2
and enjoy life" Amazing.

p.s. Next Friday I walk the same daughter down the aisle! Therapy starts
Monday.
