I would like to add no. 6 to that list.

(6) A battery package that can be mounted on outside of K1(in same style
that the tunere for ft-897). Made same hight as K1 and same depth. It is
made secure with edges that slightly goes overe the top and bottom of K1 and
secured with one screw in the hole for the stand on the right side.
It is charged from a standard PS and can be charged when mounted on the rig
since it has seperate casing.
The powerleads goes directly from the battpack to the dc outlet on the back
of the K1.
It will have 8AA alkaline or NIMH/NICD cells.
I think this will be portable foolproof.
It could also be a addition to KBT1.
Think !! Up to 4000mAH capasity on K1? A hole weekend of fun only on
batteries?
But there will be no toroids to wind!!!!! Ugh.......
