[Elecraft] News from Dayton?

This might be a bit complicated! (10 band module!)
I have been hoping soon they would offer a 160 and possibly 10/12 meter option
in 2 band modules for the K1. One other "mod" that would be useful to new
builders would be the LCD illumination scheme built in to the
front panel board.
Another interesting change would be the "two speed" circuit on the RIT/XIT
pot that gives 'finer' control (sort of a vernier) from say 10 to 2 o'clock
reverting to 'faster' frequency change in the rest of the pot range.
Using the RIT is rather "touchy" when you are in a very narrow
bandpass setting (200-250 Hz.)

| I was hoping for a 10 band module for a K1. I never hear much about the K1.
| Seems like this is their step child.
