I was one but in case it wasn't my message that you looked at...

It also works great for tinning toroid leads.  Place it in a vise with 
the tip up.  Fill the tip with solder and insert the lead.  Wait a 
second or two and release the plunger.  Perfectly tinned toroid lead.
