You don't even need K2's latest firmware for 1 step notch and noise 
reduction. With 2.02F firmware, I programmed one user button for notch 
on/off using 02 03 02 02 and another user button for nr on/off using 02 01 
02 02.  Have been using it this way for over a month with no problems. Of 
course your K2 should be in normal frequency display before using those 
buttons and remember that "notch" does not apply to CW mode.
This, plus the spectrum display are my favorite features in the NP4Y software.
