When your K2 is too close to its power supply, transformer hum radiated
from the P.S. can get into the PLL circuit of your K2 and will sound like
hash off frquency in another receiver.

My K2 is absolutely clean when it's far enough from the P.S. while
listening in my FT-1000MP.
