Hello Andy,
I ran into a similar problem with obsolete ICs for an active capacitive filter I
was building for a speed control circuit in a 30KW diesel generator. I found
Rochester Electronics at 10 Malcolm Hoyt Drive in Newburyport, MA. They advertise
themselves as the "Leaders on the Trailing Edge of Technology". They buy up obsolete
stocks and then re sell them at a hefty profit. You may have some luck finding what
you need from them. They have a minimum charge. I had to buy 5 ICs to get the single
one I needed. (If anyone needs to rig up an overspeed shutdown circuit for their 30
KW diesel generator, do I have a deal for you!!!)
