I have a basic Astron 20 amp supply sitting under the operating desk. It
supplies all the K2/100 needs plus a number of other small bits of gear =
(my
K2/100 draws about 16 amps, peak, at 100 watts).=20

The only thing about linear supplies is to keep them a couple of feet =
away
from the K2. The magnetic field around the transformer modulates =
circuits in
the K2 if you don't, producing hum on your signal and other odd
side-effects.=20

I am presently building a K-2. Does anyone have a recommendation for a
power supply for this transceiver? Does Elecraft plan to offer a power
supply kit in the near future? Which brings up a question. What would be =
the
ideal accessory kit from the=20
big E to go along with the K2 when used in fixed station mode? An AC =
power=20
supply/speaker in a K2 sized package? Maybe a ~30a switching supply with =
2
or 3=20
sets of Power Pole outputs for station accessories and KPA100? Lets hear
what=20
accessory package YOU would like to see from Elecraft. The squeaking =
wheel
gets=20
the grease you know ;-)
