[Elecraft] New K2 kit building and parts ID and inventory

Jim,
Thanks, but here's my two "sense": I did basic sorting on all kits but never
a double check of Elecraft's inventory... to count how many before starting
my build. I was off and running quickly upon receipt of my kits including
that initial K-2 test. I have mine done in around 30 hours as I was in a
hurry to get running. I was experienced in building and that is important
to understand my comments. The only way any kitting process works
accurately, whether the builder does another inventory or not, is to double
check the components as they are installed to prevent error. I don't think
an additional inventory is necessary, and in either case, if a part is
missing you must either find one or order one. I had no parts errors, (just
a couple of poor lead cleanings on my output toroids ;-( ).
To save time, I leave the inventory process to Elecraft, thus my comment
about the need NOT to do another inventory before building.
-->If a builder does not recognize parts, then doing a parts inventory would
be a way to avoid ID errors before the building process begins.
