[Elecraft] KX1 Low Power Output

Hi Jim,
I had low output on both bands on KX1 #142 at first.  I just adjusted the
spacing of the windings of L1 and L2 till I had it producing 4.5w on 20M,
and 5w on 40m. I was originally in the 2.5-3 watt range as you are on both
bands. Be patient and conservative with the adjustments, you may have to try
changes on each one quite a few times to get results. Make small changes to
the spacing of a couple of adjacent turns first to gauge the affects, check
output as you go to see the results. Also the Inductors are somewhat
dependent, adjusting one will affect previous adjustments of the other. 
I am by no means a radio guru, but this worked for me.
Maybe some more experienced builders will add some additional comments to
get your KX1 into spec as far as output, but this method worked for me.
