  Johnny, depending upon the design of the NR and its implementation, =
you can
  expect any signal to be altered in its sound with the NR engaged. That =
is
  the price you pay for a reduced noise level. The tradeoff is to be =
able to
  hear and understand the signal with NR whereas you cannot without it. =
What
  the signal sounds like is relatively unimportant as long as you can
  understand what is being sent. BTW, NR with relatively narrow filters =
is
  less effective than with wider filters.
