Not quite!

>From the very first article, G5RV described the antenna as a multiband 
design. The original article describes operation on 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 
meters. Of course 160 meter operation is as a "T", worked against ground, but the 
others are as a dipole.

The trick of the antenna is that if built as described originally, it will 
have "low" SWR on all bands. The original description doies not use a balun or 
coax, though. "Low SWR", however, meant something less than 5 to 1. Most ham 
rigs of the day could match such a load without too much trouble.
