Hi
The jumpers are installed on the top of the board and soldered on the =
bottom. If you have the KAF2 or KDSP2 then you can go ahead and install =
the 5 pin and 3 pin connectors supplied in the KAF2 or KDSP2 kits. Then =
bend two clipped resistor leads to fit into the connectors in the same =
position as R18 and R19. This will allow you to test the control board =
and the rest of the K2. When it is time to install the KAF2 or KDSP2 =
just pull out the jumpers and plug in the KAF2 or KDSP2. I usually =
install all of the option connectors when building a K2 even if the K2 =
does not have that option installed. The connectors are cheap and can be =
ordered from the Elecraft parts department. This makes the installation =
of any future options much easier. =20
