[Elecraft] KX1 paddle mod

  I did the spacing mod, seen in the KXPD1 manual,
p.7, item 2, to decrease the spacing between the
contacts. It gave the paddles the close spacing for
the light touch I like.

  While it's true that the feel of these paddles is
way different than conventional ones, they are
effortless to use after a short bit of practice, and
cannot be beaten for convenience, in any situation.
