[Elecraft] Change to Elecraft Keying Mod

I think the BEST way is to tune in the signal on a receiver and see if
anything can be heard when the receiver is tuned so the tone can longer =
be
heard.=20

Listening to my K2 transmitting on a good receiver with no AGC (AGC =
causes
no end of artifacts), I can't tell it's on the air if I'm not tuned =
within a
few hundred Hz of the filter bandpass. The signal level is so high it's
actually overloading the rx within the filter bandpass. But off to the =
sides
where the beat is no longer audible... Silence. No pops, no clicks, =
nothing
to suggest that the K2 is transmitting.

So I'm still looking for what it is that needs changing, because until I =
can
find what's wrong, I'll never know when I've "fixed" it<G>.

There's a lot of great information including some good files for what a
signal sounds like when it's clean and when it clicks at:

http://www.w8ji.com/keyclicks.htm

W8JI has issues with other rigs, not the K2, but his examples and WAV =
files
are great reference material.=20
