I agree with the statement about wireless passing them up.  In case they
haven't heard, wireless is the new frontier in data communications.  =
With
the expansion of DSL and wireless, they've come to late to the market =
with
data over power lines.  I think it will have limited market acceptance =
and
fail.

BPL (tests) ARE coming. Latest rumor is that unless
BPL achieves critical mass within 18 months, it will
be surpassed by wireless technology.=20

All we need to do as hams is -actively- involve
ourselves at -each- trial location that comes to our
town and HOLD THEM TO THE BOOK. The guys in North
Carolina are doing a Yeoman=12s job at present. (see the
Yahoo BPL forum).

Apathy is the only thing to be concerned about right
now.
