300 ohm "twin lead" was produced with a nearly cylindrical cross-section, 
usually foam filled, with the two conductors molded along the outer skin, 
running the length of the cable.  Sort of like " .0.  " in cross section 
(except the conductors were at 180 deg opposite one another).  This is in 
contrast to the flat twin-lead which looks sort of like
"  .-.  " with a solid insulator separating the two conductors.
