[Elecraft] Thanks! OT: Vertical doublets / baluns / tuners

I happened to pick up my copy of Moxon "Antennas,,," today.   Les Moxon,
(SK) has just left us in his 90's.  He has one of the most different antenna
books (RSGB published but available from ARRL) of any.  He thought off the
wall, and put many interesting facts into his work.  Les, thanks for all
your inspiration and causing us to rethink small antennas and some
traditional ones like end fed Zepp
and what its problems are.

On small antennas, this is an excellent place to get actual working
multiband antennas or ideas.
I noted today, he has covered the short verticals with loading bars like the
Force 12 Sigma designs.

What seems new ideas is once again shown to have been around for awhile.
Force 12 took the small vertical with horizontal bar loading and made a very
practical compact and transportable field antenna of it.  Those wishing to
home brew the Sigma verticals should own a copy of Les Moxon's book.
