I run Red Hat Linux Advanced Workstation here, and have found that the 
Marote program (see the K2 software links on the Elecraft website) works 
very well for K2 control.

logging software program for Linux.

http://www.nitehawk.com/sm5bsz/linuxdsp/linroot.htm    is a DSP system 
you will want to examine.

http://www.qsl.net/kf8gr/index.html    is also a link to a website with 
a LOT of linux links.
