Brendan,

I measured the difference between the old and new timing as just a few
milliseconds. The keying timing was adjusted by this amount (nominally 2 ms) to
minimize the impact of the shaping mod and ensure no keying artifacts. 

Please try the T-R = 0 setting, which un-mutes much faster.
