Good question, Jeff. We cover this in the K60XV manual. If you damage your
serial number label in the process of moving it, you can order a replacment.

I moved the label on my s/n 3000 K2 successfully, but some of the older labels
had an incredibly stong adhesive and may not be salvageable. Give it your best shot.
