While changing bands on my K-1 tonight, there was a sudden loud "pop" =
heard through the headphones and then nothing but a repeating periodic =
low pitched pop, occurring about every second.  I notice that the ATTN =
light barely flickers on every time this sound occurs. =20

All functions/dials/switches are now nonfunctioning.  Does anyone have =
advice on what happened and where to start looking for the problem?  I =
hesitate to just pull it apart blindly. =20
