Sorry about that. I suppose I could flash "TST" or "P=0" on the display once in
awhile in this mode as a reminder. I'll add that to the wish-list.

No, because in many cases you'll want to test the set keying speed without
transmitting, or stay in SPEED mode to do off-air keying practice.
