[Elecraft] Sooner or later?

Group,

I intend to build a K2/100 but am facing a dilemma. I can order the K2 alone 
NOW and start using it, or wait a month or two until I can afford the KPA100 
before starting work. My question is, would there be any advantage for me to 
wait and get the whole shebang before starting to build?
