I just finished a second KX1 #505 - it took me about 4 "evenings".  Where 
an "evening" is not a marathon but perhaps 2-3 hours plus/minus. It can be 
built in less, but I don't like to push it. Also if I'm tired or don't fell 
keen to work in the shop - I take that as a good sign not to.
