I just breezed through the new 60M manual myself.  I understand bout the
firmware updates.  It says on new K2s instead of the transverter holes in
the top cover their are now rca holes in the bottom heatsink.  The manual
says for us with older k2s we can still use the holes on our top covers or
drill our own holes in the bottom or just order a new rear heatsink.

Been doing a bit of breezing myself.  Looks like if you use the QRP lid
and the existing BNC holes you can't conveniently remove the lid anymore
'cos it's anchored to the XV60 by the two coax cables.  A shame they can't
be un plugged like the RF feed to the KAT2, or can they, with the correct
jack and header.  Are there any mechanical interface problems actually
fitting a J1?  A shame not to use the holes for the purpose they were
punched and labelled.
