That's quite a generalization.  Think of how many LESS contacts one would be
able to make in a contest if real signal reports had to be exchanged.  The
same is true with PC logging VS paper logging.  Look at contest scores from
30 years ago, compared to today.  The required skill set has just become
more focused.  IE:  how many operators were doing 2-radios back then?

While I'm here, rather than REAL signal reports, I'd like to see the day
when we get extra contest points for WORKING the QRP stations, rather than
the folks OPERATING QRP.  But, before I get "gonged" off the stage....  Just
think of the huge pileups the QRP guys would have!!!
