Hopefully you will not be too exhausted by tomorrow afternoon and evening
from the EQP. I more than doubled last year's showing and found it can
get addictive. I only worked for two hours because I have other fish to
fry but 20 meters was a lot of fun this morning. 8 contacts in 15 minutes
has to be some sort of record (for me that is :). But I digress as usual.

If the aether has not been strained by the simultaneous contests (OK, EQP,
and SOC) we will run tomorrow at our normal times and frequencies give or
take a few kc. I'll be the ringleader and try to keep you folks awake for
an hour or so. If I need some assistance pulling someone in please don't
be afraid to offer some aid to the NCS.

Going through my notes, and from a couple of EQP contacts, the Elecraft
net has 100 serial numbers. Some of them are from the same folks but with
multiple rigs. I am not sure if that is allowed for the Century Award so
I will try to get another five to ten serial numbers to cover any
disparities between my records and the rules.

One more day before I can take the data for our ARECC classes down from my
website. When all the students have taken the final exam and don't need
any more assistance I will pull all that data and start posting the ECN
data. I am unsure of how to present a spreadsheet on a webpage but I am
sure we can work out something. This will allow you all to see where you
stand. If there is something in error we can fix it. If you want to fill
in a serial number or change you name from the formal one listed on QRZ to
a nickname please send me the changes.

ECN needs DE, KY, MT, NE, NH, SD, VT, and WY to achieve WAS as a network.
If any of you in any of those states are willing to make a contribution of
your time or electricity please join us and have some fun.

20 meters at 2300z Sunday (3 PM PST Sunday) on 14050 kHz or there abouts.

40 meters at 0300z Monday (7 PM PST Sunday) on 7045 kHz or down (I need to
avoid
an SSB net north of the border).

See you tomorrow,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class).

Until then good luck in the EQP!!
