So the op makes his/her own dashes? That is, the dash lasts as long as the
dash paddle is held closed? 

That would be GREAT! As I said, I really hate not being able to make my own
dashes on a keyer.

Trust ME! Nothing feels as great as a REAL bug - to those of us who love
REAL bugs <G>. 

Again, I'd like to see a true "bug" mode: automatic dits and nothing else.
No auto-completion. No auto spaces. No auto dashes. 

It sounds like what you found is at least a step in the right direction!

No, the correct minimum space of one dot between dahs, but the dahs can be
as long as the op likes.  The spaces can be longer than the minimum of
course if desired.
