[Elecraft] K2 AGC Threshold - R1

Hi gang:

After bringing my K2 (#1632) up to the rev B level, I was interested to
learn that the AGC threshold is not what it should be, per the test
prescribed in the A to B document.  I do indeed hear a noticeable increase
in noise everywhere between 20 and 12M, but not quite as pronounced on 10 M.
The bands were quiet in all cases.

The documentation says to adjust the value of R1 by substituting a pot, and
cranking on it to find a good compromise between IF gain and AGC action,
then put in a  new fixed R1 at that value.  

Just wondering if anyone else has done this, and what their experience has
been relative to the final value of R1, and the difference in sensitivity.
