The solder I bought from McMaster-Carr is .025 dia., has a blue and white
label and it is made by Amerway of Altoona, Pa......It says "5 core" on
the label...McMaster's website does not call it "multicore" it calls it
"multiflux"...See page 3162 of McCaster's on-line catalog...It does have
several cores, which can be seen under magnification if the solder is cut
with a sharp razor blade, not dikes, which will mash it and close off the
end...
