Just a note -
I tried 3505 here for a while using 1.5 KW - no echoes. Antenna is an
open-wire fed inverted vee, 105 ft/leg., up about 75Ft. at the middle,
15 Ft. at the ends.
However, there isn't much in the way of "night" up this way at this time
of year. Sunset is about 11:30 PM, with sunrise about 2 hours later.
It doesn't get truly dark - just a sort of twilight between sunset and
sunrise. It would be interesting to see what time of day you guys were
hearing the LDEs.
