[Elecraft] K2: A/B button doesn't change mode, just frequency ?

Hi Dave - Gee! - my K2 has never "remembered" the mode associated separately
with vfo A/B switching WITHIN the same band!  However, it does remember last
used mode when switching band to band.  I've upgraded the software all along
(have 2.04p now) and have always wanted this feature!  Being able to set vfo
A to cw and vfo B to ssb - say on 20 meters - would be great!! Have I missed
a menu setting or something all this time?  73 es gud dx --don n4hh
