Well, maybe NOT! There is a pinout (I believe it's the 8R line, if I
recall) which is normally used for driving externally-keyed devices, such
as amps and other similar devices. I suspect the 8R line will work for you
as well. This is, I believe) the line that Elecraft uses with their KPA100
100W amp to provide drive to a HEXFET output to key external QRO amps, so
it should be pretty easy to access and use.
I believe it keys several mS prior to RF appearing at the output of the K2,
so this should allow your remote devices to switch first.
ASK on the reflector... I'm sure there are those who have accomplished this.
