[Elecraft] K2 is break-in only on CW??

I don't have a K2 yet, but alittle confused...most every HF rig I have owned 
has a XMT or MOX key.....you are not forced to use VOX / Break-In....is this
different with the K2? How would you use it with a external HF amp that has no
break-in?
