Michael,

This is definitely on our list of future products, but I can't put a 
date on it right now.

In the case of the KX1, K1, and K2, we felt that fully-integrated 
internal tuners were a better way to go. They save space and weight, 
re-use the same user interface as the rest of the radio, and provide 
calibrated forward/reflected power measurement for the transmitter. But 
for other small rigs without an ATU, you're right--a very small 
external tuner would be great.
