[Elecraft] 20m Vertical on roof

Martin,

I'm no expert by any means but I would say definitely. Coupling between
conductors is at a maximum when they are parallel and a minimum when at 90
degrees (further reduced by distance obviously). Is there a way you could
mount the vertical away from their TV antenna (on your gable end if you have
one) or reorient the radials so that they are away from the feeder?

Another possibility is a Cobwebb which is supposed to cause much less
trouble with EMI and requires no radials (but it is 2.5m square)

Regards,
Paul (M1PAF)

I'm thinking of mounting a 1/4 wave 20m vertical on the roof of the house.
However it will be only 2 feet away from next door's TV antenna and one of
the ground plane wires will run parallel to the TV downlead, am I asking
for TVI trouble even though I'm only using qrp?
