[Elecraft] RF hardening a computer speaker.

I picked up a set of Altec Lansing Multimedia amplified computer speakers
for a very cheap price. My hope was to use them with my K2 so I could hook
up the computer and headphones and still have speaker output.

The speakers are sensitive to RF. On transmit it is not necessary to connect
the speaker to the radio. In CW it is reasonably easy to copy the transmit
signal. I was transmitting SSB into a dummy load last night and could hear
the transmitted audio in the speaker even with the speaker disconnected. I
thought my K2 had a new audio monitor feature.

Any suggestions on how to RF harden the speakers? These speakers have one
board in them with all the electronics. The only wire inside runs about 3"
from the board to the speaker. I tried coiling the power and audio lines and
added ferrite beads on each.

I have a similar problem with the speakers I use with my computer. I have
not tried to fix them because I can just turn them off when I use the radio.
